The family legacy officially began in 1953 when Fred Marzelle Hill, Sr. and his wife, Dorothy Taylor Hill, opened the doors to Home Appliance and TV in Monroe, Louisiana. Initially, the couple focused strictly on selling and servicing home appliances and electronics. Later, in 1972, Fred Hill, Jr. took the reins of the business, driving decades of steady growth that eventually welcomed four generations of family members into the fold.
